Steppingstones Preschool and Day Care offers exceptional, year-round care for your child in a spacious environment at affordable rates. Our philosophy puts your child's well-being -- emotional, mental, and physical -- at the forefront of all we do.

Our spacious facility (much bigger than it appears from the outside!) is conveniently located at Rt 140 and Hartford Ave in Hopedale, near the Mendon, Bellingham, and Milford town lines.

Age-appropriate, right-sized programs

We offer programs for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-K. Each is designed for both fun and education, with a schedule that provides a variety of stimulating activities, rest time, and indoor and outdoor play.

Qualified, experienced, and caring staff

Our teachers are EEC-certified, trained in first-aid and CPR, and are dedicated to careers in early childhood development. Staff turnover is low, too, so we are able to provide a consistent, stable environment for your child.

Clean, large, bright rooms

Our interior space is much bigger than it appears from the street. High ceilings, continuous windows lining both sides of the building, and a multitude of skylights make Steppingstones a cheery and warm place for your child to spend his or her day. We make hygiene a priority, and maintain that "just cleaned" look throughout.

Safe, secure, and engaging outdoor play areas

Our playgrounds are fun, yet safe places for children to engage in physical activities, social engagement, and large motor skills development. Our equipment is appropriate for all ages, but provides step-up features for older children.

The right size for learning and growing

With a licensed capacity of 23, your child will spend the day in an environment that is large enough to provide separate areas and staff for each age group, while still providing the professional, individual attention that keeps kids and parents from being overwhelmed...or overlooked.

We place special emphasis on education and development. All our programs incorporate age-appropriate social/emotional, cognitive, language, and physical goals...always taking into account your child's individual temperament, needs, and learning style.
